The Resort is seeking an experienced Human Resources professional to provide expertise and best practices to support and advance the company’s goals. The position will report to the VP of Human Resources and supervises and lead a team of 3-4 direct reports responsible for Recruiting, Benefits, and Health & Safety/WSIB.
This position is responsible for the efficient and effective coordination of complex wide proactive and reactive occupational health and safety plans/workers compensation/ claims / AODA requests / administration and management, policies and procedures, benefit administration, ensuring friendliness, customer-orientation, and high personal standards of attention to detail/ self-composure – are provided to resort staff -whose primary objective is to enhance each guest experience in each part of our business.
This position is responsible for the efficient and effective coordination of complex wide recruitment, selection, and on-boarding of a large pool of candidates possessing inherent traits of passion for helping other people, friendliness, customer-orientation, and high personal standards of attention to detail/ self-composure – whose primary objective is to enhance each guest experience in each part of our business. The candidate for this position must possess a passion and understanding of recruitment, dedicate and demonstrate all company’s core values and implement them in all daily activities and tasks to create an outstanding example as to the high standards of Falls Avenue Resort. The passionate, professional, enthusiastic and friendly individual will be responsible for driving the hospitality vision of professionalism and service to candidates, new hires and current employees on the Resort as well as off the premises.

We are presently in search of an exceptional individual who can work closely with our operators to maximize our labour efficiency. We are looking for a take-charge person who can drive change and deliver results to the bottom-line while at the same time ensuring solid internal customer service. You will also be the leader of HRMS-time & attendance technology and have the capability to utilize the system to establish multiple time and labour models. You will also be the key point of contact for our business operators on the use and methodology of the technology.
In a fast-paced, high volume work environment, Corporate Human Resources provides administrative, advisory, and representation human resources services and support to the Director of Human Resources for both union and non-union work environments at all resort business units-hotels, restaurants, retail store, and attractions- in both interchanging recruitment and health and safety/workers compensation/employee benefits roles. Human Resources supports and reinforces the resort hospitality service culture for candidates, new hires and current employees by demonstrating all Resort employee core values – implementing them in all daily activities and tasks to create an outstanding example as to the high standards of Falls Avenue Resort- passion, professionalism, enthusiasm and friendliness for driving the hospitality vision of professionalism.
This position assists the Payroll Team by performing accurate, timely and efficient processing verification both before and after payroll is transmitted. The individual will be responsible for multiple business entities on a bi-weekly basis. You will have a critical role working with the department managers of the business to ensure the data collected is accurate.
The Senior Payroll Administrator assists the Payroll Team by performing accurate, timely and efficient processing, verification ( both pre and post transmission ), analysis evaluation, and reporting of hourly and salaried payroll data for multiple businesses entities on a biweekly basis. In addition, the administrator contributes to continuous analysis and improvement of all payroll, processes and procedures, including related operational processes.
Falls Avenue Resort is seeking an dynamic, results driven Vice President, Human Resources to provide strategic leadership to support and advance organizational objectives. The position reports to the CFO and provide a pivotal role in supporting the business operations and driving results.
