Responsibilities

Executive Chef Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing menu for restaurants
  • Manage revenue, costing, and budgeting/P&L for the outlet
  • Adhere to Marriott brand standards, process and equipment standards, and Health and Safety standards
  • Hire and train staff on all aspects of restaurant
  • Promote the restaurant through direct reports and share services
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications

What you’ll need as Executive Chef:

Experience: 5+ years’ Executive Chef Experience in related fine dining or high volume setting

Education: Post-Secondary degree in Culinary Arts

Certification: Inter-Provincial Red Seal

Other Qualifications:

  • Strong budgeting/P&L experience required
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail as it pertains to food quality and presentation
  • Ability to lead/supervise a team of restaurant management staff
